Creating a syllabus is not easy. We need to think hard, in making the mathematics syllabus needs to work hard to finish with good results
It points to consider:
1. Opportunities to learn mathematics for each person
2. The curriculum is not only a set of mathematics courses, but can also be used to reflect the activity of mathematics'
3. Understanding the needs of students who study mathematics
4. Opportunity for students who learn mathematics to constructtheir own knowledge
5. Need to use assessments to improve the quality of learningmathematics, Use learning methods that are relevant to the material
Today, the curriculum is based on competition (CBC) is a choiceto make Indonesia a better education. Reasons to use CBC are:
1. Students have different potential
2. Indonesia is still at a low level of education
3. Competition in the era of globalization make the students there will be strong and weak students who are eliminated, we needstandards of competence when students graduate
CBC is focused on the ability of graduate students, so that whenstudents go to the real life they will have life skills. In mathematics,logic is the notion of logic, the main required in every part of our life, the logic is the key to unlock real-life problems. The ability tothink logically can train if students try to solve the problem.
In my opinion, the important thing in mathematics is problem solving as a process. But whatever it is, hopefully useful thingsdone for the advancement of education in indonesia
